We visited the Grant Depot restaurant over the weekend and we were impressed! Located in downtown Grant in an old railroad depot complete with a wooden water tower like Petticoat Junction. The restaurant is very clean, offers a large (varied) menu, and has a neat railroad ambiance of days gone by. The service was excellent, she even put our napkin and silverware out on the table like the old days...putting each utensil where it belongs, not just thrown at your spot. Their Scandanavian Shuffles are the best! (just like the ones from Arnie's Restaurants in the GR area). Hubby had the burger and he said that was good also! We enjoyed the deep fried cream cheese and dill pickle spears too! Very reasonably priced! Worth the drive!
