The Best Body Company may be a good spa but I would NOT recommend going to Erica to get your hair done. I'm new to the VA Beach area and decided to try the salon because I love Aveda products. Boy was that a mistake. I have blonde hair and simply asked Erica to touch up my roots. When she was finished my hair was black and she had the nerve to ask if it was too dark. Hello!?!?! Yes it's too dark...my hair was blonde. She tried to fix it and turned it bright red. At this point I told her she needed to call someone else over to fix it because I was afraid she was going to damage it more and make it fall out. She tried telling me that there wasn't anyone else that could fix it at that time and I'd have to come back at another time. I had to make her call the manager and then I had to insist that someone come in and fix my hair. Finally Valerie showed up and she fixed it as best she could. I had to go back the next week for her to cut several inches off due to the damage Erica caused and she tried to tone it down for me some more and make it look more natural. I'm still not happy with my hair because the blonde is not a pretty blonde, it's too yellow and my hair is much shorter than I wanted...but at least I still have hair. I have to use deep conditioners every day because it is so damaged and it will take months to get it back to the shape it was in before Erica touched it. So please do not let Erica touch your hair.
