Review content:
The honesty and integrity of Kenny Speeds is unmatched. In all my 20 years of driving used cars and having to deal with repairs and maintenance, from Detroit to Los Angeles, Kenny Speeds is by far the best mechanic I have ever been to. They have earned my loyalty for life. My check engine light had been on for months but my van was running okay except for burning fuel at a greater rate than normal. Living on a limited budget, repairs arent easy for me to do. When my van started running rough, I could no longer ignore it so I took her in. My van was reading 4 codes, none of which were related to the others. After hours of diagnosing the various problems, knowing I live on a budget, they cleaned the fuel injector (instead of replacing it which most places would have done and the cleaning worked great!), replaced a fuse and additional clean-up, they cleared all the codes to see which codes came back on to determine what really needed to be replaced, saving me *lots* of money. What would have easily cost a thousand dollars or more anywhere else, cost under $100. When I took it back in to fix the code that remained, I was quoted $440 for the repair, an oil change and transmission service. In the end, I was charged $369.09 and my van was running better than she had in a long time. A month later, the check engine light was coming on and off so back I went. My van is 12 years old with nearly 160,000 miles so its not surprising that she continues to need work. A leak in the vacuum system was the cause, which was unrelated to my initial codes, and they didnt charge me anything even though they had to take my car apart to make the repair. I live far from Mesa where theyre located so when I take my car in, I bring work with me and spend the day in their office. While there, I repeatedly watch people come in and out and their treatment of everyone who comes through their doors is the same fair and honest it doesnt matter their age, gender or ethnicity. Im grateful to have had a friend recommend Kenny Speeds to me. I might not be on the road without them.
