yestday i went to kenny speed's for a second opinion on some vibration i*ve been having with my car! i took my car to pepboys assuming i had a tire issue and figured i could get it fixed under warranty. instead iwas told that i needed a cv axle and a tranny as well as being quoted $250 for the the axle and the labor. the tech at pepboys suggested i get a second opinion tho! the following day i jumped on the net to search for automotive repair shops and found kenny speed's. they have the best reviews and their customers have been with them for years. very impressed i drove my car down there and they immediately took it right in when i walked in the door! very friendly people too! they took they*re time, test drove my car to make sure to identify the issue its self and came back with great news! there was no need to replace my cv axle my issue was a tire! even tho* pepboys checked my tires, rotated them, and balanced them, i was told that they were fine! kenny speed's didn*T over look a thing and found a flat spot on my tire in the tread that was causing this horrible vibration, which had all of a sudden moved from the front to the back of the car, obviously since they rotated my tires! these people saved me $250 that i really can not afford! my car was about to have some serious transmission work all over a tire! good to know tho* that that $250 cv axle at pepboys would have cost me $100 LESS at kenny speed's. this place is great! infact today i*m goin* back to get an alignment. my thought going to kenny speed's was that i was gonna leave there broke and bummed but at least my car would be running instead i left there knowing that i just needed to replace my tire which cost me $50 and that i could do the alignment too seeing has both repairs still cost less then my original quote! definately gonna use this shop in the future if it means driving across town to do so. thanx guys for all ur help!
