Review content:
Technician came to fix a/c compressor, wound up claiming system needed freon due to leaks in system. Put 2.1 lbs of freon in system at $450.00 plus $45.00 labor. Advised system needed another $500-1000 in repairs. After getting a second opinion from a Certified A/C repairman, it was determined there were no leaks, no freon was needed, but ducts were dirty and compressor had shut down. Total charge for second repair, about $200, with labor. Would not recommend Banks Quarles Plumbing & Heating to anyone.
