I had a very bad experience using Pietro (owner of Arte Home Improvement LLC) for a shed I needed built. He cut corners to save himself money, and when I called him on it he claimed that he did everything "upto code". Well, you know and I know that just because it's "upto code", doesn't mean that it's quality workmanship! A very important part of the shed, I stressed to Pietro, before hiring him (at a much higher rate than his competitors - so word to the wise, just because it costs more doesn't mean you'll get more or better quality!), was that I needed the ramp leading to the shed to be long enough so that it would not be too steep so that I could haul up the heavier equipment, which are on wheels, that I have. He said that this would not be a problem and he'll take care of it. Well, he didn't! But I paid him in full for his services - because I'm true to my word and trusted that he would be as well! But, when I called him over to work with me on the problem - he didn't want to hear it, said that it was to code and he didn't have to do anything. That's true - and you have a choice as well, and I hope that you will all learn from my costly mistake and chose not to use Arte Home Improvement, but instead select a more reputable contractor that still believes in putting the customer first. By the way, even his own worker agreed with me.
