After seeing all the adds on TV I called Corley for a bid on a new A/C unit. I had already received other bids on the work. I was totally floored by the price.$4732 The next highest bid was $2000. What a difference for the same job.I am retired from the maintenance and construction industry and have a good idea of costs involved in this type of work and this is way tooooooo much.I requested a price breakdown, but was told one was not available.
This type of practice, giving very high pricing in hopes taking advantage of someone who does not know any better, is very profitable I am sure, but is not very fair to the people who fall for it,in many cases seniors.Very disappointed.
