A family member recomend B & J Transmissions to me. I worked with Alex and he was excellent. I don't usually say that about service professionals, but they were truly excellent and honest.
A long time ago, my daughter took her Blazer to be inspected at another shop. The mechanics looked at her Blazer and determined that it needed a new transmission. They were not trying to cheat her, they were just inexperienced. We then took the Blazer to B & J Transmissions and they informed us that we did not need a new transmission. The mechanics at B & J Transmissions were just more knowledgeable. Also, they could have easily sold her a new transmission, but they were honest and said it was fine. They are very trustworthy and knowledgeable.
It's refreshing to go to somebody that is knowledgeable.
