Review content:
As far as cuts/color go, the stylists do a good job there. The price for a cut isn't too expensive. But I have always walked out of there paying way more than I expected because they add on unexpected charges sometimes.
I'd rate the service there very low. Every time I went there, it was an unpleasant experience and an all day affair in the salon. When I had an appointment, the stylists were either late getting into work, forgot I had an appointment, had the wrong service I wanted written down in the book, go on frequent smoke breaks, and a few times, made me wait a long time when I got to my appointment on time so they could eat there lunch in the salon! I also found the manager to be a little rude and unprofessional, and doesn't exactly look the part of a professional salon owner. Once, she wanted me to pay to redo something I was not happy with that got ruined right away that cost a lot of money.
They also have a big turnover of employees there, which doesn't say much for the business.
Overall, they do a good job with their cuts and color there, but they ought to be more professional if they continue to charge competitive high end salon prices. Liked my stylist a lot, but I won't go back there because of their professionalism and the owner's attitude. I'll go back to Hoboken and pay the same prices at a high end salon and get attentive service, nice music playing and an owner who is more concerned with the customers having to wait long and not as many mix ups. I'd rate the stylist a 4 star, but service just a 2!
Pros: good colorists, nice haircuts, decent prices
Cons: professionalism, not attentive enough, music, long waits, lots of stylists who quit or get fired
