Very disappointed in the professionalism we found with Tahoe Real Estate Group. Our agent (Stacey Hart) was pleasant enough to deal with at the beginning of our ski lease, but completely botched our move out. Our deposit wasn't returned to us until two and a half months after we moved out. And when we finally got it back, a full $2000 had been deducted for things like missing towels and glasses. We were charged for things that were already broken by previous tenants when we moved in (who thinks to document missing wine glasses and coffee makers?). Most deductions were made without the receipts required by law. She canceled our scheduled cleaning (which she herself had earlier recommended) and replaced it with one that was twice as expensive. When we kept asking her about it, she told us "don't worry about it, I'm taking care of it". I don't think she could have broken more California law relating to this move out if she tried.
When we called her out on these issues, she stopped responding to our calls and e-mails. I have a feeling they do this often. She also has a comforter which we left behind, and has yet to send it back to us despite repeated requests.
BE CAREFUL when dealing with Tahoe Real Estate Group. Their lack of organization and professionalism will screw you over in the end. I strongly recommend you work with a different agency.
