I had an abortion here about a year ago and I found the staff extremely helpful, supportive and comforting throughout the process. I therefore decided to come back as a gynecology patient. BIG MISTAKE. HUGE! They were great when I was in an emergency situation but this office is TERRIBLE at dealing with regular patients.
If you make an appointment, expect to wait 1.5 to 2.5 hours to be seen. The first time I came in for my annual I was called in at my appointed time and asked to pee in a cup. Then was made to wait 30min. I was called for bloodwork. Then another 30 min wait. Then I got called into a room to undress and sit on the exam table. Another 30 min wait with my legs in a stirrup. Finally, my nurse came in to do a pap smear and it was over in about 2 minutes. There was no breast exam (like all my other doctors have always done), no manual pelvic exam (where they press down on your belly to feel your ovaries and make sure all seems normal). She literally took the sample and removed her gloves to leave. She didn't ask if I had any concerns or questions and I had to stop her as she was leaving to actually get some personalized attention since I DID want to discuss some concerns with a doctor. She didn't really seem to have any useful info for me and I found myself going home to google my questions. That's just ridiculous.
The next time I came in on a Saturday to get my bloodwork results which they only give you in person and was told I'd have to wait the usual 1.5 hours. Seriously? for results? That takes literally 2 minutes. What the hell? Well weekends clearly are not a good time for them since I waited 2.5 hours just to speak to a doc for literally 2 minutes about my test results. The whole time I was waiting all the other girls sitting next to me were complaining loudly about the wait and RIGHTLY SO!!!
Great abortion services, Awful gynecology services. Stay away!!!
