I've been going to Special Effects for years, usually one stylist in particular. She does a good job with my hair and she's really nice but every single time I ask for a different style and she does my hair exactly the same, no matter what I ask for. And god forbid I try to get my hair done on one of her days off. The woman who gets everyone who doesn't ask for a particular stylist is, I think, the owner and everytime she's cut my hair she's been exceptionally rude and the cut/style wasnt anything special. I haven't been back for a year but I doubt it's changed much. It hasn't for the five years I've been a customer there. Although I'm sure their prices have gone up. They micro-charge for everything so make sure they don't dry your hair or style it... It'll cost you an extra $15-20.
