I have been a patient at Optica Universal for twenty years and Dr. Hymowitz has always offered leading edge technology at the best prices. While other Optometrists around Atlanta have shied away from new hybrid lenses, even refusing to sell them in the beginning, Dr. Hymowitz embraced the technology, he is the only Doctor in Atlanta that is experienced at how to properly measure and fit these lenses. He is willing to take the time and go through the iterations of testing necessary to get perfect vision and a perfect fit. Other Optometrists do not want to be bothered with these customized lenses and the ‘extra work’.
I can tell you first hand that these new hybrid lenses (Synergeyes Duette) are ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR! At 47, my vision started to deteriorate and my soft lenses failed to provide perfect vision, things got blurry, even though my soft lenses were multi-focal I still could not read. My new Hybrid lenses have restored my vision, better than 20/20, near and far.
Recently other clinics have started to sell these hybrid lenses at much higher prices than Optica Universal, however these other clinics do not have the experience necessary to properly fit these lenses. When you ask these other clinics about hybrid lenses, they act like it is some type of black-market product, and then quote a high price. Dr. Hymowitz prices these lenses $60.00 less than the other clinics, and he has the expertise and experience to deliver the right fit.
If you are having difficulty getting absolutely perfect vision, then ask the folks at Optica Universal about these hybrid contact lenses.
