I was wanting to do something special for my girlfriends college graduation this June and I thought I would seek out a rental place for a tent, tables, and a margarita machine to spice it up a little. I found omaha rental service and they had all three things so I went ahead and rented from them. The night before our party after we had rented these things a huge storm blew through and took power out of 120,000 homes in Omaha. By the next day (the day of our party) it was down to 40,000, but we still had not gotten power. We really wanted to use the margarita machine, but couldn't because of the outage. So my girlfriend called the Omaha Rental Service and asked if there was anything that could be done. We would be happy to bring back the machine. The owner Bill Gray is who she spoke with, he was really rude to her and acted disgusted that we would even ask for anything. After much coaxing he finally said fine I'll give you half back very begrudingly, but I decided no we didn't even use the thing and we brought back all the mixes. So i decided to go talk to him personally. We walked in and explained our situation to his wife Barb and she was even more rude than he was. Saying there is nothing we can do the bill has been closed and treating us like we were idiots. I explained to her that we had just spent nearly $400 with them and would like only whats fair and she would not have it. So I asked if we could speak to the manager and she said no he's busy and dismissed us so I pushed harder and said well can I at least talk to him over the phone I don't mind calling him and she would not even give us his number. So we left never to do business with them again and warn any of our friends not to either. Cody and Christin.
