I would not recommend ever renting from Rusty Gerdes in College Station. He swindled us out of more than half of our deposit over bogus charges. He charged us for cleaning and replacements which were in perfect condition when we left the premises. He also likes to not own up to things he said like paying for part of a washer dryer installation, which I guess is the renter's fault for not getting it in writing.
In addition to taking most of our money, he also will not let you live in peace with weekly visits to remind you that it is his property and not your home.
You probably also notices that his only other review is by him, patting himself on the back with 5 stars. Such is Rusty.
Overall, it was a bad experience that I would not wish on anyone. Steer clear of him and his properties.
