Attention Brooklyn and all NYC boroughs: Diamond Roofing/John Kot aka John Luciano are dishonest roofing and home contractors. I signed a contract with Diamond Roofing to replace my entire roof with half up front as a deposit and the remaining balance to be paid in 6 monthly installments. I foolishly gave John Kot aka John Luciano all of the 6 checks on the day of completion expecting that he abide by the contract agreement which stated that a check would be deposited on the 30th of each month for six months. Two weeks later, however, Diamond Roofing deposited all 6 checks on the same day attempting to cash out on the contract and then disappear. I subsequently cancelled the checks and 2 months later my roof started to leak again in the SAME exact places!!!! We called Diamond Roofing on numerous occasions to repair the still leaking roof and basically got the run around. We were ultimately told that they would not do any further "work" on the roof until we paid the remaining balance in full?!!?!?!?!?!? The discussions/emails/text messages became totally obnoxious and John Kot aka John Luciano was extremely disrespectful and acted like a BULLY. We are now suing Diamond Roofing and have filed a complaint with the Department of Consumer Affairs. All of this drama and my roof is still NOT fixed! PLEASE do not give this business or person any money! They are dishonest and have a long history of defrauding consumers all over New Jersey using many different aliases and business names. The Attorney General of New Jersey has filed suit against them (http://www.legalnewsline.com/news/235921-n.j.-home-improvement-companies-sued) and now they have taken their criminal behavior to New York and New York City http://consumer.westchestergov.com/renegade-renovators. CONSUMER BEWARE!!!!!!
