Review content:
My last visit to the Licking Memorial hospital ended in an extreme bad attitude towards the way things are run there, and the staff on hand. I was signed in with a pain level of 8 and higher, and still sat in the waiting room for over 3 hours before they took the first vital stat. and another few hours before they called me back to a room. The doctor felt around my abdomen, where the pain was radiating, and did a pregnancy test and simple exam, then rounded it up to be "either a kidney stone, or an ovarian cyst" I'm no trained medical doctor, but I believe they are totally different. He gave me a vicodin and sent me home. No oter tests. When my husband asked about an ultrasound, or ct, anything, the doc told him it wasnt needed, that he thought this is what was wrong, didnt have proof of anything, just a feeling. So don't go to this ER unless you want to be diagnosed on a "feeling".
Pros: The building is new, and the personal ER rooms are nice and private
Cons: There is not enough staff, the doctors do not make regular rounds.
