Ok, so for starters.. I just moved to the atlanta area last april. I actually work about 5 minutes from doc's. I've drove by the place atleast 100 times but never stopped in. Well, i was living in the downtown area and just got a condo down the street from docs. I decided to come in for a drink one night after work. it was a long stressful day at work and thought a drink would help. well my server (janice) was terrible! lol thats just a nice way to describe how i felt i was being treated. she came to the table and seemed a bit overwhelmed. she asked for my id, which is very understandable. i told her to come back because my purse was a mess and that i would have it ready. before i could even find it she had a manager come to the table asking if there was an issue with my id???? really???? lol i actually thought she was going to be nice. well i still was being nice. even with this bad experience left her a 9 dollar tip. decided to come back with my id in hand. i just decided to come back last friday night. the server i had this time was cierra. it was me and 4 other friends. i can actually say, she is the reason i will be coming back to doc's on a regular basis. she automatically came to the table was very polite, asked how our night was going and initiated conversation and then asked for our id's. she was super busy, but not once were our drinks empty and not once did she give any bit of attitude. our food was amazing, service was prompt and cierra i can honestly say has become my favorite servers since i moved to atlanta. she had a very positive attitude and i enjoyed that she tries to build a relationship with her customers even when she doesnt know them. it made me feel at home. so i can say overall i appreciate the service at docs and the only reason im giving 3 stars is because of my 1st experience. cierra deserves 5 stars though
