Review content:
When you do a lot of travelling, sometimes it's the little things that make the biggest difference and brighten up your day. I am SO glad that I stopped in at Wiedmaier. I was able to take a nice hot shower, which was a blessing all by itself, but the facilities were very clean and well maintained, unlike most public gas station type bathrooms that make you want to shower in hand sanitizer just because you walked in there. I was also able to do my laundry and enjoy a comfy TV room while I waited for my clothes to be done.
The restaurant offered excellent "comfort" type food in a cozy setting with VERY friendly staff, fast service, and great prices and specials for a home cooked meal away from home. There's also a convenience store so you can stock up on just about anything you might need for the road including munchies and cold drinks.
Again, I am very grateful that I decided to make a pit stop here. I would highly recommend stopping by if you're ever passing through and need a place to rest, refresh, and refuel.
