Review content:
There was no information anywhere on the procedures and medical advice/warnings. When the receptionist finally got off her computer she gave me several forms to fill out acknowledging I had been given materials and advice on the procedure, and was agreeing to follow the post procedure regimen/instructions. I asked the receptionist for the information, but there was none. I was told it would be explained to me when I got into the procedure room (a half hour later). The paper from the prior client was still on the table, all rumpled, the aesthetician did not use gloves, I did not see her wash her hands, and I'd be willing to bet the machine had not been sanitized. I asked to have everything explained to me, and only then discovered several things I would have to follow after the procedure, including using their expensive, chemical-laden products.
When it was time to leave, I asked what the charges were for. The receptionist rattled off some things (they all have heavy accents and it is hard to understand what is being said). I paid with a credit card, and asked for a receipt for the services. All I got was the credit card slip showing the total amount. What kind of "doctor's office" professional place operates like this??
I see my doctor tomorrow for the blisters that have shown up on my face and back, and I am praying they are not a staph infection.
