Businiess name:  Art From the Heart

Art From the Heart is inside the Rogue Valley Mall. You choose what ceramic item you want to paint, sit in the store and paint/stencil/whatever it, leave it to be glazed and fired, and come back a couple of days later to pick up your finished product. When we walked in there the first time and I saw the prices on some of the pieces, I had a little bit of sticker shock. Some of the things seem a little pricey. However, after taking two young children in to paint, spending an hour or more, making a mess of the table, and getting coffee and snacks, I decided that it was a pretty darn good deal after all! If you aren't too artistically inclined, they have all sorts of fun stencils and things to put on the pieces, and are more than happy to help you out if you have any questions. The staff was super nice and helpful. There are also some nice touches like toys and highchairs for the people who bring younger children with them. And, what grandparent wouldn't want a mug/plate/clock/whatever with a little one's handprint on it? We're going back to stock up on Christmas gifts...
