Review content:
I’m a relatively healthy 49 year old man with a good job. I’ve managed to maintain a “pain free” life. A fairly regular exercise routine, including water aerobics 3 times/week for the past 3 years have really helped with that. I was shocked when I suddenly began experiencing pain on a regular basis in my left arm. The slightest sudden movement would shoot unbearable pain throughout my entire arm. My doctor diagnosed me with “shoulder pain” and suggested that I let a physical therapist look at it.
A good friend and patient at Everson Orthopedic told me of her success, so I that is where I went. In my first visit, my physical therapist accurately diagnosed my problem as a “frozen shoulder”. She explained to me that with regular treatment, I could once again be “pain free” and regain my full range of motion within 3 to 6 months. With the exception of one cortisone shot to fight inflammation, I relied exclusively on the expertise and care of my physical therapists at Everson for my recovery. Their skill and my compassion make the visits enjoyable, and each week I could see the measurable improvement. After 3 months of 3 times per week visits and following the exercises at home between visits; I was once again “pain free” in exactly 3 months. I’m so grateful and thankful that I went to Everson Orthopedic Physical Therapy Services for my treatment and recovery. I recommend them to anyone dealing with pain.
