Review content:
I wouldn't count too much on BobL674's commentary (due to his hormones leading his opinion rather than quality service).
I have been a long term client for Dr. Wagner. When I first began going to Dr. Wagner's, everything was fine. He seemed like a nice guy with a quality practice.
The last couple of times I have visited haven't been so great. When I came in for my most recent eye exam everything was so rushed and when I had asked questions they seemed to be shrugged off. I have worked in the medical field before and I am not one of "those" clients that asks unreasonable and repetitive questions. I understand that being busy can cause somebody to get overwhelmed, but then you need to get additional staffing to provide quality service to your clients. My bill for the rushed exam was $95.
I also saw another woman attempting to ask some questions while in the waiting room to various staff members and she was brushed off as well.
Upon checkout, I was told since I was getting a free trial from a company, I would have a $30 credit for when I decided to purchase my contact lenses since some people are allergic to this type of lense. I wanted to purchase a six month supply but was told my $30 dollar credit wouldn't be honored. NOBODY had even mentioned there was an expiration date on my $30 credit or else of course, I would have stopped in sooner to purchase them!
I ended up stopping in to get a print out of my prescription and I got that sort of annoyed look from the receptionists, but I did get the printout quickly. I have never complained in my many loyal years as a client, it just seems to have gone downhill and more about money than the client.
By the way, my contacts were cheaper online. In this economy, I might as well go to Wal Mart for my eye exams, too.
