Review content:
Treatment from Dr. Marcusella Jagneaux was a waste of time and money. More than 7 weeks of adjustments and physical therapy with no real improvement. She prescribed treatments to occur on a decreasingly frequent basis (every day for the first three weeks and tapering down to twice a week at the end). The promised end result was “pain free for the final two weeks”. This never occurred but she encouraged us to continue regardless. An additional week of treatment passed with still no elimination of pain. Then one day we were surprised to learn Dr. Jagneaux was on vacation. She was replaced by a Dr. Charles Heuser who examined and immediately prescribed a return to daily treatments. He also undertook a totally different mode of therapy and finally improvement was experienced over the following week. But still not the promised end result as pain continued although moderated. Dr. Heuser seemed very confident and his expertise was apparent if by no other signal than the results obtained under his care. However he had to return to Colorado Springs at the end of his week-long stay in Beaumont yet prescribed another week of daily visits would be needed to reach a point of stability. We pleaded that he remain for the patient’s sake but “no, obligations back home prevented this”. A search on the internet disclosed that he has five different chiropractic offices he apparently manages. We did not return to Dr. Jagneaux fearful that her lack of skill would undo what small improvement was finally obtained. We would ask for a refund but wish to simply get on with our lives. On the upside we found the office staff and physical therapists to be very friendly as was Dr. Jagneaux. But results are what are wanted and who cares if the provider is mean and cantankerous. Pain free in the end would be worth it.
