I was sold by the very professional salesperson on Suddath’s high quality moving services (including full packing and unpacking) for our move from NY to CA, unfortunately the salesperson was the only professional part of the moving process. The packers showed up late, took more smoke breaks than I could count and didn’t finish. This lead to a rushed job on the second day where things were poorly packed, they ran out of proper packing materials and as a result many items were damaged. The worst part was they forgot to bring the additional supplies necessary both days, not just on the first day. Yes, most homes have beds, so mattress boxes are generally required. Having forgotten the mattress boxes, they used furniture pads to wrap the beds. Then as a result they ran out of furniture pads for (yes you guessed it), the furniture. They also simply lost at least 4 major items for days, that were then found in someone else’s shipment. The customer service process has been a nightmare, no one at this company cares or wants to make things right. As a result, I would recommend you avoid Suddath Relocation Services!
