Received a Spa Day pkg recently & had facial, massage, mani/pedi, makeup and hair wash/ blowdry.\r

Parking was difficult/ icy due to recent storms but I chalked that up to CT weather. If I were 80 yrs old, I wouldn't have gotten out of my car for fear of breaking a hip. Upon entering, the salon was buzzing and I was greeted with a smile by the several people gathered near the desk. The foyer was dirty, though, and the rug was tattered. I was struck by how UNpretentious the staff was, immediately made to feel welcome and went upstairs to the 'Spa' area... heeding the caution sign to be quiet. \r

My facial was very nice, though I've only had 3 in my life. The technician was warm, chatty, but not too much, and made me feel welcome still.\r
