went in for fluid change in trans. and they todl me i need a rebuild transmission. i said it drives fine but they said its in bad shape and if i drove on it without fixing it it would ruin my transmission and hurt the engine. they said it would be $1,500. i said to go ahead and fix it. then they called me and said it would be $2,500. it made me nervous but they said they would charge me that much to stop the repair so i went ahead. i went to pick up my car and the bill was $3,300 plus tax. the car does not drive better and there is a burning smell under the hood and it comes into the car when i use the AC or the heater which is all the time basically.
