after 8 yrs of fighting the original owner... and apparently other crooked AAMCO service centers.. i am finally satisfied with my transmission i have a lifetime warranty on.
I have been trying to get it fixed and time, and time again, i got, has to an engine issue, we couldn't find it, needs a sensor, needs to be flashed.. all lies. I took to Charles, and he put me in touch with his builder Taz. They both listened to my explanation of what i was troubled with. Taz went out on a test drive so " I " could show him the problem. After the test drive, he told me it needed a torque converter, ( like i have been trying to tell other so called builders for 8 yrs), and replaced. On return it still had a shifting problem, and i called Charles. He told me to bring back in, and they would work on it right away. I was called back to pick up my truck, and they replaced the shift kit. I now have the power i have been looking for, and i knew was in my truck.
Charles and Taz went out of their way to listen to me, and correct my problem. It wasn't fixed the first time, but they did make it right. That goes a long way in my book.
Don't give up on this place,, new management, and builder, make it worth your stop again.
