We used to sit in our garage everyday and watch the kids play outside. When our garage door wouldn't correctly open anymore, we eventually stopped watching the kids play in the front yard. We were pretty tight on money when the garage door stopped opening, so we just figured that it would be an extra expense that we didn't really need. So we waited and waited. We remained completely oblivious in that we had never actually called to get an estimate on what it would cost to fix it. It wasn't until a few months later when we were doing some work on another part of the house that we thought about fixing the garage door. Plus, our neighbors were replacing their garage door and a garage door repairman was only a few hundred feet from our house. There was no way I could make up an excuse to not at least getting an estimate. So as soon as he finished with their garage door, he came over to look at ours. To our surprise, it was WAY cheaper than we had thought. We did not spend a grand. We did not even spend half a grand. We barely spent what we thought we would have to spend. The technician was very nice to squeeze in an estimate. He actually had a different appointment he had to be at, so we made an appointment for him to come the next day and fix the door. We were so thankful for them! Once our garage door was fixed, we were finally able to get back outside as a family and all play in the front yard all together. Thanks guys!
