Review content:
I went in to replace rear break turn out more works needed. since both location University district & Ballard location diagnosed same problem and could be a safety issues. For once I thought I can trust the decency in humanity and authorized the repair. Total was $680 tax included. (Also Serpentine belt replace + flush power steering fluid) I was just curious on how I did with price. So stop by Bud Co,company and Sting Ray show them my paid invoice from Ballard affordable break & tires with all prices obscured/hidden. I asked them to price all procedures shown on the invoice. Bud Co said $550, Sting Ray $560 Tax included. I could have save myself $120 if I risk shopping around a bit. Note all these auto repairs are in Seattle area. A week later, Renton Toyota has a sale on 5,000 miles interval oil change & looksy for $23. Went in, My vehicle reports shows rear break is at 72%. What the %^&%$#@, I though I have just paid for a brand new break. It can not went down 30% driving around in Seattle. for 5 days. Plus Toyota dealer said they added too much fluid which will cause too much pressure to hydrolic systems. Note; I have never mentioned that I have any works done a week prior to to Toyota Dealer. In conclusion: I over paid $120 for a used rear break to be put on & services that was not done correctly. Will have rear break check again with one of those free break inspection places. If they said otherwise I will make correction/up date.
