I was moving from just a block from my old residence and the A-Team lost two of my boxes from a small moving truck...not van. But that's only a small part of how bad this company is - they damaged two pieces of furniture, punched holes in my walls and gouged me for more money before taking my things off the truck. They put 50% of the boxes in the wrong rooms, complained about how heavy they were and crushed, dropped and manhandled everything. When I asked the movers about the holes in the walls they said they were only responsible for the boxes and furniture (65 cents per pound) not the damage to my walls. After reporting the loss of my boxes to the police they miraculously showed up at the company. Even after the boxes showed up it took them two days to deliver them. They promised to bring them the same day they found them but it took another day. I just don't understand all the good reviews when I felt like I was raped by a company that blamed me for the loss when I spoke to them. (They didn't apologize or say they were sorry, they said I should have checked the truck. Not their movers...me!) I can tell you the movers for the most part were pleasant and at first I didn't notice the damage but after I looked closer I realized the depth of their incompetence and malice. If you value your belongings and don't want to be ripped off DON'T EVER USE OR RECOMMEND this nightmare of a company.
