Businiess name:  Amf Florida Lanes

Review content:
I called this location seeking to play the 40 frame game. It's programmed into their BOSS system and available in front desk. I was told that the price would be the same as one regular game. I told the rep I was a AMF league bowler (on the rewards program) and a summer pass member. He said no problem, just come in. When I got there the manager had to get involved to set up the lanes. Understandable: BOSS doesn't make this real intuitive. I told them again I had a coupon, AMF bowler rewards and I am a league bowler at another AMF location. The ball return and pinsetting equiment was showing its age, but functional. AC was on, but set to 78 degrees. The lanes were well oiled and everything was OK. Part way into my game I noticed the graphics were not keeping pace. For example, it would show a 9-pin no tap graphic, then a mulligan graphic. Confusing at first, but I learned as I went that the last one to display was the current frame, the first one was a leftover from the previous frame. Things went well (although I scored horribly, but that's my fault) until frame 38 where my ball got stuck in the equipment. I hit the call for service button. After two minutes with no answer, I went to the front desk. No employees in sight. I checked the pro-shop, none there, so I went back to the front desk and waited 10 minutes. the manager cane up. I told her my ball was stuck and she called back there. I returned to my lane. 5 additional minutes passed, no ball. I returned to the front desk, for another 5 minute wait. I could see the manager in the office, but she never looked up. The staff member who answered the phone and set me up came in from outside. I told him and he went down to retrieve the ball. Once I finished my game, I returned to the front desk to settle up and was charged $10.70. The price of one regular game is $2.50 at this location. it's like no discounts were allowed even though I have told then I had a coupon, bowler rewards from the league, and summer pass (an AMF discount program)
