I got raked over the coals by this firm ... without any notification, they billed me 4 times what they gave me for an estimate and charged me for all sorts of "research" that a tax prepared should have resident inhouse by the very nature of the role. I also tried to assess any added complexity and cost in early conversations (based on other preparers) and they told me that it was not too complicated ... but that isn't what the bill showed. I could have gotten most of the "research" they did from a quick Google query or calling my broker for FREE ... I'd stay away from this place at all costs.
