I went to this school and not punching to the head unless you are a black belt is unrealistic, if my child gets attacked he won't just hit to the body he will mix it up and destroy is nemisis I have been taught Self control and discipline but just the same more options are open with head punches included shorin ryu taught head punches when you start the class regardless of age or rank. But some styles are just more hardcore in that respect. As far as belts go I am not a purple belt I earned my black so should be able to keep it. It seems like ingot taken to purple because if I was black there wouldn't be as much money comming out of my wallet. He did an evaluation and based you belt off of that well its pretty easy to place someone when you only let them show basic techniques. Chien respectfully
