Wish I had read other posting regarding this bead store. The owner of this store is a very rude and volitale man. I could not focus on shopping for beads. He was berating and yelling at the young woman who works for him in front of customers. My husband left the store. He enjoyed looking at the stones. I later found out he could not tolerate the behavior of the owner. It was a bizarre experience. I truly believe he was intoxicated. I finally decided to end my shopping. I could take no more. I went outside for a few minutes to gather myself. I made a decision to tell him about his behavior and unprofessionalism - let's not talk about customer service. What's that? I returned to the store and told him that he was very rude. No one wants to hear that mess when shopping (for beads) and it it very embarrasing for the young woman - by the way she was literally shaking while I was talking to him. She was so polite and pleasant during the barrage of insults. He told me to get out before he threw me out. Of course, it was on after that!!!! I thought about reporting incident to Virginia Beach Sherrif's department, but I was concerned for the young woman. So concerned that we rode back to the store to check on her - she was fine. Yes, the owner of the store has great merchandise. I hated to leave the items I had selected (took time to search for). Store is disorganized and a hot mess! The owner was so rude - brutal. I could not purchase a thing from him. I will never ever return and will tell all of my bead friends not to purchase anything from store or web site. There are so many great bead stores in VA Beach - google Bead Stores in VA Beach). There is also a location in Richmond. Very nice store. Organized. Nice staff. I will never go there again. How unfortunate - good stuff. Please do not subject yourself to this nightmare. Trust me. It was not pleasant - and safe.
