After months and months of no success at the local shops or with online shopping, the plan was to go to Jax or Orlando to continue the search for the perfect dress for my wedding but my friend urged me to stop off in Lake City at the Golden Needle first. I have to admit I wasn't keen on the idea thinking, 'what could I possible find in a small city' however I was pleasantly surprised and so grateful for the outstanding service that Alissa and Maeghen and their master seamstress "grandmom" gave to us that day. I love that it is a family business and this in turn gave me the sense that I was with family and friends. The atmosphere was lighthearted and fun, the prices were fantastic and the selection was awesome. How wonderful it was to have so many choices! Another wonderful perk about this shop is that the alterations are done on site by someone with years and years of experience and that is comforting to know. I will make the Golden Needle my "first stop' in the future when I need formal wear ie cruise, special parties, charity benefits etc. I would highly recommend them. Thanks again Golden Needle!
