The last time I stepped foot inside a KFC it was at this location, about 3 years ago. It was mid-afternoon and I was the only customer. I watched as an employee in the back threw away an old sandwich that had been sitting on the warmer. I happened to order that same sandwich and I watched as the employee pulled it out of the trash and rewrapped it. I thought, "Is he going to try and give me that sandwich that he just pulled out of the trash?" Yep. I told the manager who took my order and put the sandwich in a to-go bag for me what I had just witnessed and he got defensive and blew me off, saying that is standard procedure. I demanded they make me a fresh sandwich which they did but if pulling old sandwiches out of the trash to sell to customers is standard procedure I will never visit any Kentucky Fried Chicken ever again. What disgusting garbage! There's a reason it is cheap--trash, trash, trash. Pros: high in trans-fat. Cons: horrible sanitation and food safety practices are standard procedure.
