We've begrudgingly brought the kids to a few parties at Fun 4 All, even spent the $13 a head to let them play on the slides and trampolines for a couple of hours during "open play". But this business is not safe for children and it has suffered at least a decade of maintenance related neglect.
The rides are covered in what must be years of dust and dirt (look toward the ceiling, you'll see what I mean). The carpet surrounding the water fountains is soaked and stained black, and even the 4' by 3' floor mat does not cover the stains. The "moon room" is filled with dust which can only be nylon particles kicked up from the shredded-tire material lining the floor. The bathrooms (whichever ones are actually open) rival the worst highway rest stop when it comes to cleanliness and product stock. Usually, the bathrooms in the rear of the building are taped off (appropriately, with yellow CAUTION tape).
Then Fun 4 All apparently changed hands.
Now there are even fewer employees monitoring the playing children. We saw not a single employee on the floor during our final visit in early April 2012, and the place was packed. Even the giant inflatable slides had no attendants to keep children from sliding down more than 1 at a time. The obstacle course inflatables, our kids' favorites, were deflated and "didn't work", according to the counter attendant.
There are small toys in the toddler play area, and children were putting their hands and mouths all over them. The solitary counter attendant was storing his personal water bottle in the ice bin for customers' fountain drinks.
I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that this place is an unsanitary nightmare. Now that it's changed hands, we are sure it will never improve and we will not be going back.
