Review content:
We recently bought our first house, and we had some plumbing surprises. Our home was built in 1907, so I knew there were going to be plumbing issues, what I didn't expect, is that they'd be from the people who "renovated" it!! We found out about these problems when trying to install our new washing machine. I put the machine's drain pipe into a pipe in between the water sources for the washing machine, which one would assume is the washing machine drain. Well, water started spewing everywhere. It turns out that the pipe behind our wall was flawed in two ways: 1 - it was too small, therefore the amount of water it was trying to drain was too much, thus the spewing effect. 2 - the pipe led to nowhere. It went straight down and was to empty onto the foundation/the floor. When we probed further, to find out where to hook it into, Winston, our tech, discovered an open sewage drain, which was in major disrepair, and against code. All of these issues were covered up with drywall, paint and other concealers to fool the inspectors, and us. We were fuming!! I couldn't believe the nerve of the people who sold us our home in this condition. Thanks to Perfect Home Services, we are now starting to be able to enjoy our home.
