After putting $2800 into my 2002 powerstroke. I picked up the truck and it still had the same oil leak it originally had when I took it in. Come to find out the so called (best powerstroke mechanic in the whole north west." according to the service manager Jim") had put an extra gallon of oil in the truck after the turbo was changed and the injector control pressure module was changed and removed, and then the high pressure oil pump was changed. When I asked about all the parts swapping to get my truck running, the(best powerstroke mechanic in the whole north west) told me all those things going bad at exactly the same time was just BAD LUCK. Then he informed me that the main computer module was also bad and needed replaced and that was why my check engine light was on. The check engine light was never on before they worked on it. So the main computer module was also just bad luck. A week after I removed my truck from courtesy ford hell the oil leak returned with a diesel leak also and the truck started running like crap.(more bad luck). I borrowed a code reader form a buddy of mine and got 3 different codes, I got on the internet for about 20 minutes and found out that those codes were usually due to the Injector control pressure module. (Yes the same part they changed and removed putting the bad one back on). I found an ICP on ebay for $40 and replaced it in about 10 minutes. The truck quit leaking oil and runs like its brand new. So my advice to everyone out there, STAY AWAY FROM ANY OF Phil Meador's dealerships in pocatello. Makes me sorry that I have bought so many vehicles from him over the years.....( NEVER AGAIN)
