Review content:
I have been going to VWHA for 7 years and have enjoyed my experience there. I have had two babies while using this practice. I mostly saw Dr. Hersh, but did have appointments with PA Amy Rembold, Dr. Adams, and Dr. Morales. I felt like each Dr. and their PA were very good at listening to my concerns and answering any questions I had. Another plus for me was that they didn't mind when I had to bring my older child with me to a few appointments during pregnancy number 2.
Pregnancies mean several ob appointments especially the closer you get to your due date. I tried to schedule my appointments first thing in the morning or first thing after lunch and found I rarely had to wait more than 10 minutes especially if I arrived 5-10 minutes ahead of time. I found the office staff and nurses to be courteous and skilled. I did have a few minor complications with my pregnancy and was grateful that they were willing to accommodate me a few times at the last minute (one time keeping the office open a few extra minutes in the evening until I could get there) in order to make sure that my baby and I were okay.
Something I really appreciate about Dr. Hersh is her concerns about my overall health and whether I'm getting enough calcium, exercise, etc. whether it's during my annual appointment or if I'm pregnant. I'm constantly passing this information on to my sisters-in-law because they're not hearing it from their OB's.
