Review content:
Do not support Blue Moon Mexican cafe. There are multiple reasons, aside from the mediocre food and slow service. The food there is no healthier or better than any other mexican restaurant. They have expanded and scarified their quality over the last decade. They are also supporters of police brutality and corruption in bergen county. In December of 2011 I was kicked out of the bar because someone accused me of carrying a knife. I have been going to Blue Moon for decades, and have been one of their biggest customers since the new opening. To minimize a distruptance I left, only coming in to pay my bill out of respect. But when I went back in a second time because they brought me the wrong bill they called Englewood police on me. When the Cops came, I was on my cell phone telling my mother that I needed a ride. 6 Cops surrounded me and told me to get off the phone, and when I asked for another second to explain my mother the situation, all 6 officers pounced on me, pummeling me to the ground and breaking my phone, as I yelled for help. The next day I was released because they had no real reason to arrest me, except for what they put down as "resisting arrest." I kindly asked ANDY, the manager who I have known for years, to make sure the security VIDEO TAPES are safe. He assured me that everything would be fine. 2 months later when my lawyer went to subpoena the video tapes for my case, management told him that there are no tapes, and that nothing is recorded! It is scary to know that these kinds of things can happen in such a wonderful town as Englewood, and it is exactly this type of corruption that ruins the great name of freedom in our nation.
