Review content:
We traded our Buick Rendevous in on a new Mazda CS7. The sales person was excellent, very friendly and personable. The problem came into play when we made our offer and then the negotiations began. They retained my keys to our Buick which made me feel like a bit of a prisoner, while the pricing went back and forth. We did come up slightly on our offer but held firm after that. We agreed on that price "out the door" and then had to stay to do the finance paperwork (which could have been done the next day) after having been there for 2 hours on a Friday evening. They said it would take only a few minutes, but half an hour later we were still there. They pushed for us to drive the Maza home but we left and returned the next morning. Upon arrival and exchange of our vehicles we were then surprised with only being provided a single key. I understand used vehicles may only have 1 key, but the buyer should be made aware of that fact at the time of sale, escpecially when a key costs nearly $300 to make. We were told to go to the Mazda dealership besause it would be cheaper. It wasn't. We decided to return to WC Honda and ask for the key to be provided and we would split the expense. The shift manager refused with quite a negative attitude. We then decided to return the car due to this unexpected expense, which in our belief did not comply with the "out the door price" that was agreed upon. The dealership GM stepped in and agreed to split the key cost. We now have received another surprise in the form of Registration/License Tag which will cost us another $50. So much for "out the door" pricing. This dealership does not even offer a 30 day warranty and we have a lovely little check engine light going on and off due to a gas cap vaccuum sensor. First and only time I will buy from Wesley Chapel Honda. Steve & Sandy Zehner
