local non-profit volunteer .. positive adult role models for boys and girls who could benefit from highly individualized friendships they have a through a one-to-one match between a Young Friend and an adult Best Friend. I was very muich glad to of been a part of this organization .
it was the best ever to show my way to help the boys & girls of Best Friends ..
you do need to be a Best Friend mentor ..
make at least a one-year/school year commitment in order to... it takes time to develop a trusting relationship with a child. and it really does . even more to a few of the kids the best time was to see how the child did develope a great relation and continues to grow .
the program is where you see your Young Friend once a week for 2-3 hours. and so on..
it is very worth the effort ..if you can try to do this . it'll help in every way I DID.
it sure can touch ones heart .
