Review content:
I started attending Black Eagle Martial Arts nearly 3 years ago when I was going through a divorce to keep me busy and out of trouble. I have been attending ever since. BEMA is a family-friendly martial arts school and offers taekwondo (my choice of art) and sport kenjutsu (would love to try this if my schedule allowed!). They have lots of children in their classes, from 4 years old and up. TaeKwonDo classes are offered starting at 4 or 4:30 each weekday and a late class which starts at 7. Kenjutsu classes are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6. They also offer Saturday morning classes which focus only on forms and sparring, and a Sunday afternoon class for higher belt rank forms. It is a good time to go to class, get some exercise, and goof off with the kids in class, too. Some of the teens in class are VERY good and they are also fun to workout with. It is awesome to see them as they grow and learn the art(s) too. My only complaint is that classes are too short to cover all the instruction for green belts and higher. Another 30 minutes to the schedule would go a long way!
