Called Jimmie the week before Christmas week to see about having a look at our crawl space. When we bought our house, a year ago, we knew the insulation down there was falling apart and there was some rodent activity.
He came out with another guy the next day and gave a super thorough explanation of what was going on. Described what we were probably experiencing due to the lack of insulation (hot water taking a long time to come out of the pipes, for example). This is a guy who really, really cares about his work and is eager to describe exactly what he sees and how he'll fix it. He took photos of the whole area and showed me what needed to be fixed, etc.
And, had a good estimate in my email inbox that night.
3 days later, he and his crew had ripped out all our old disgusting insulation, removed the dead rodents, reinsulated using top quality insulation, wrapped all our pipes, and rodent proofed the area.
Honeset, nice, hard-working and effective. Perfect for what we needed, which was rodent removal/proofing and insulation. House is warmer, hot water is hot. woot.
