Review content:
I hired Aculine to hook up a tankless hot water heater and gas fireplace. The hot water heater was hooked up on 10/14/10. However, Tim and Steve knew that cabinets were going to be installed around the hot water heater. Upon returning home I immediately let them know that the gas lines would be in the way and the cabinet would not fit. They assured me that they could "tighten it up". ||[]||[]On Weds, 11/24/10they returned to hook up the fireplace AND deal with the hot water tank lines. Everything was fine at this point. However, I was told that due to the snow there were Er's and they would deal with the hot water tank lines later. :-( ||[]||[]I waited all week for a call to schedule. No call came. I then called Steve on 11/29, asking for a call to schedule and waited. On Weds. 12/1, I called Tim letting him know that I'm waiting to schedule and asked what to do? Tim said he would ask Steve to call. No call came. On Friday 12/3, I called Tim asking what to do? He said he would call Steve. No call came. 3 hours later I called Tim who sounded shocked that Steve had not called. Tim called back and said they had been very busy on a commercial account and that he would call me when he returned to the shop to schedule. NO CALL CAME. ||[]||[]I am really shocked with this treatment . I even asked if somehow I had become a "problem" client [because I had rework that was needed?]. Tim assured me this was not the case. However, next week on 12/8/10, I will have been waiting 7 WEEKS to be able to set my cabinets AND the federal tax credits end on 12/31/10 for any work done on the hot water tank installation. ||[]||[]I don't know if they thought they could not charge for the re-work? Unfortunately, I now am going to hire another contractor to do the work, yuck, who will probably charge more than Aculin, who I would have been HAPPY to pay to come back in and do the re-work . And I WAS scheduled on||[]
