Review content:
I read the not so good reviews and decided to try Mr. Steak anyway on 3/16/2007. Location: St. Charles, MO off of Hwy. 70 at Zumbehl. Ordered the All you can eat king crab legs for $24.95. Salad was plain but ok. The wheat bread was dry and not worth the time. The crab legs were brought to the table without the baked potatoes that were ordered, when the baked potatoes came out there was a ton of butter on them and they looked like something that was reheated from three days ago. They tasted like they were three days old too. The crab legs were okay, overcooked but okay. The service was decent, crab legs were plentiful and iced tea was always full. Not the waitress' fault that the food was not up to par. Take my word for it, it is not the cost but the quality of the food that seriously lacks merit. If you want good crab legs go to Emperor's Palace in Chesterfield Valley, it is a buffet but they have the most wonderful snow crab legs on the weekend nights. The crab legs are snow crab but they are awesome and plentiful. My entire family loves crab legs and we are no amateurs, I know the difference between King crab and snow crab legs but bad crab legs are bad crab legs.
Pros: Thumbs down
Cons: Food quality poor.
