I find that I pay a bit more for my CDs at Karma than at some of the other indie stores, but they carry the most if you want more popular stuff.
You can find local artists' CDs here, as well as sell your old stuff.
Karma is also a Ticketmaster outlet, so they have the buzz on latest concerts.
