Review content:
Went to this salon while on vacation to get my hair cut, and also referred my boyfriend to also get his trimmed. The stylist they gave me, Melissa, was CLUELESS. She said she didn't know where to start, was scared, and massacred my boyfriend's hair. On mine, she didn't listen at all, and gave the bottom of my hair a straight across, blunt cut which was the one thing I specifically said I didn't want. When I told her I wanted some short layers to frame my face, she took literally a centimeter off and gave up, saying I needed to come back to get it cut by someone else because she didn't know how to do it and wasn't good at layers. I already had plans the next day and had to completely rearrange my schedule to get my haircut fixed, it was terrible, and the haircut I ended up receiving from someone else was rushed - I absolutely hate it. Aveda should hire hair stylists who actually have some level of skill, not ones who can't follow simple directions and need to give up so you can come back and have it fixed by someone who actually knows what they are doing. Awful.
